Though not a native of Cork, John has had connections with Cork since the 1960's. He has studied Medieval and Modern Irish history as part of a BA programme with University College Cork, in recent years.
He has a keen interest in Irish history and recounts the story of Cork's History and culture with humour and enthusiasm.
